*The Republic of Tate, abbreviated as RT, is a large land located above the United States of America. The country was originally known as “Canada”, but due to a revolt that lasted many years in the mid-nineties, a dictator, named Master Tate Swag Foster, came into power. He, and his league of faithful followers, took over the land starting from the southeast, moving upwards. Upon conquering, Master Foster found a flat area of land that stretched for miles, and named the place Kenneth. Kenneth now serves as the capital, where one of many of Master Foster’s palaces is located. The people of the land formally known as “Canada” were put under strict limitations, and grew to have an overwhelming sense of pride for their country and leader. Though the nation is fairly new, a promising future is predicted.

economy.jpg
The economy of The Republic of Tate thrives mostly thanks to its major exports and imports seen below. It's main trading partners are the United States of America, China, and Mexico, three very rich and generous countries. But despite these, the Republic of Tate still faces many current economic challenges like any other country. It's main economic challenge is keeping up with it's own main trading partners: the U.S., China, and Mexico. Because these countries are so rich, the Republic of Tate cannot always keep up with their fast advancements in technology and other industries. The only real industry the Republic of Tate focuses on advancing is it's golfing supplies industry. This poses as a real problem for the Republic of Tate when it comes to trade that does not involve golfing.

DUE MAY 3RD- 50 POINTS

The Republic of Tate is a country of allegiance to our fearless leader Tate Foster. It’s not what our people want, it’s what Tate wants. All orders he gives must be strictly followed. The Tatertots must always be seen in appropriate clothing that would always please Tate. All Tatertots are required to participate in Box Day as it as a national holiday of our country. The daily rituals must be done as to show our loyalty to our country, but more importantly to our leader Tate Foster himself. Tate has swag and that swag needs to be honored. Every Tatertot needs to have some swag. No one can have as much sag as Tate, as that is strictly forbidden (and impossible), but they must have some swag to safely live in our country unharmed. Our leader loves to golf therefore, we all love to golf. The Tatertots must live up to the standards that Tate has brought for us because he is the mighty Tate Foster, who will reign over us all until the end of time.
DUE MAY 9th- 50 POINTS

transnational.jpg
ECONOMIC:
ROT produces an immense amount of oil (one of our main exports) and wants to deliver to Mexico but the oil must be pipelined through the United States. However, ROT and the United States must decide whether to trade the pipelining for oil or for money from ROT to the United States.
POLITICAL:
Unfortunately, ROT is also having issues with an environmental committee about this pipelining. The committee believes that running pipelines through the United States would mean tearing down forests and certain ecosystems and also that too much oil is polluting the earth. ROT is trying to convince the United States to agree to the pipelining because it would create jobs and help the economy boom.
